Get trained to be a volunteer writing workshop leader in Cambodia!
Writing Through Singapore Volunteer Training
Writing Through offers creative writing workshops in schools, training programs and orphanages for at risk youth and adults in Cambodia and Singapore. The organisation has partnered with Caring for Cambodia, Enfant du Mekong, Phare Circus, HOME, and many other NGOs. Writing Through workshops emphasize conceptual thought, creativity, self-expression and English fluency in a playful, supportive environment.
Sue Guiney, founder and Director of Writing Through, will be in Singapore for the third annual training of volunteer facilitators. The training will cover the basic model of the workshops and include a practice session on collaborative poetry. All attendees will receive a Writing Through Training Manual.
